I would be grateful for some advice . I have managed to get a virus on my computer that is posing as the Security Centre. This isnt the problem as I have found lots of advice telling me how to resolve and get rid of it. The problem is the virus is totally blocking all my system access. It lets me open sounds info, word documents etc, but if i want to go to anything that involves systems it wont open. I thought therefore the easiest way was just to reinstall the whole system but i have encoutered a problem. I have a winfast system and it appears that the manufacturers recently included a password on the bios during an install. I cannot find this password anywhere. Can anyone suggest any solution to me, someone who is not very technical, as I know you guys seem to know everything about anything. :D

Still a problem

Okay I have tried to delete the programme in safemode, i have tried to run the malware in safemode and nothing. The virus came up whilst in safemode and blocked my system folders like in normal mode.

Someone suggested reformatting but i still cannot get past the password. i have removed the battery and nothing still is asking for a password. Can someone explain step procedure to reformat or how to get rid of this password.

Any further suggestions would be gratefully received.

***okay even more issues....seems nothing is now going to work i cant even get past the boot screen now, it gives me bluie screen and closed down system. The only option now is to find this password. Any help would be useful. I have gone on manu site foxcon and they referme to the "readmefirst.pdf" i cannot find this anywhere.

Looking more and more like a new machine is goingto be required, possibly a good thing :)
