Virus?

Sorry to post here but its bugging me and it would get mor traffic in GD.

Have I got a Virus? CA will scan but not fix any problems. Even though CA says its deleted the files they still come back. Spybot picks out some lame toolbar thing, and I cant get rid of any of these or the cause of them.

Any help much appreciated.

Go into safemode and scan again.

How do I go into safemode? Is that on boot up? Not done this before.

After you restart (or boot up) your machine. After the first BIOS screen has passed, hit F8 a few times (I usually keep pressing it till I see the boot menu). Then simply select 'Safe Mode' hit enter, then hit enter again when you have selected your OS. When you're into safe mode, it will ask you if you want to continue, hit 'yes'.
