Hello all, my Aunts PC has two Trojans on it, and as I am not near her PC yet i'm gonna have to guess a bit and say one of them has GEN in it and one of them begins with V, both seem to have a few different versions so to speak, but anyway, I cleared it up a bit, as when I logged in to a user it instantly spammed me with Virus warnings from the Avira Antivir, but it didnt actually delete them, and I heard some methods to remove them both, but the problem is now, whenever I log in to a user it INSTANTLY logs me back out again, so I cant do anything, is there any suggestions to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Many Thanks

Try logging in to safe mode.

Failing that, portable hardrive, backup, nuke windows install, reinstall fresh and a full virus scan of the portable drive before copying the cleaned files back.

tell your Aunt to stop looking at porn :D

Funny when someone mentions on here a virus its always on a friends pc never there own ! Oh the shame :o

First thing I do is stop it starting up in msconfig and run your ant-virus in bios if it fails in windows .

Haha trust me my PC is usually kept relatively clean, and if I knew how to do that, I happily would, i'm fairly handy with computers, but even thats stretching it for me haha :p
