You can get it from here and if you go to Control Panel\System and Maintenance\System\View amount of RAM etc, it will say SP1 under Windows edition, or if you type in 'winver' in run, it'll bring up a box which says it .

Im not sure if its available on Windows Update yet.
To check if you have it check your version in your control panel system page it will say Service Pack 1 if you have it installed.
To dowload service pack head here for 32bit.

They are quite large file and it should pop up soon on Windows Update if you don't feel like downloading the big service pack files.

Yes it is available on Windows update! Jeez! No reg hacks needed either.
I've had three 32bit machines download SP1 over the last two days.
There is a small update downloaded first, you then need to reboot and SP1 will show up, although you're not told to restart I found it didnt trigger unless I did.
