Visiting Amsterdam

I been looking at something called the Amsterdam card which get you umlimited rides on the tram and discounts on certain museums, is it worth getting ?

Depends on where your going. Probably not really, most places are within 15-20 minute walk MAX. If its just restaurants, cafs, bars, museum and brewery tours, all within easy walking distance. Amsterdam is not a bad looking city so i think its worth the walk if you don't have a ton of things to do or scheduled.

Last time I went, I stayed at the Meininger Hotel Amsterdam City West, which is one stop from central station. It was clean and a good mix of people staying there.

Can also vouch for this, good price too.
