Visiting the O2 Arena - Parking and tube access?

I'm heading towards the O2 arena tomorrow and have no idea where to find cheap parking. I don't mind parking further away and getting the tube to the arena but don't know where to start looking.

I'll be there from 12pm until around 4pm and coming down the M1.

Any help would be great :)
 
If you have an oyster you could park at the Sainsburys car park and get a bus there (or walk) the rest of the way.

Look up Sainsburys Charlton or North Greenwich.

Not sure if they patrol this car park though...

After you've paid out for parking elsewhere and getting the tube to the o2 would it not work out cheaper to just park at the arena?

I'm sure when I went with MisChief she said to park in the one not for the concert (right next door to the main one) because it was only £7 or something like that.
 
the parking near 02 isnt that expensive imo.

you could park in charlton and then get bus 486/472/161 to North Greenwich.. or if travel by tube then don't need to bring in the car and save some money?
