I really like comedy series' such as:

The Office
The Simpsons
Family Guy
That Peter Kay thing
Black Adder
Pheonix Nights
Extras

But i've run out of stuff to watch and i need some reccomendations of something to watch.. any suggestions?

Spaced
Scrubs
And Now For Something Completely Different
The Goodies
Rising Damp (don't know if this exists, but it should!)
Futurama
Arrested Development

You have to get Spaced. People that haven't seen it are on average 27% more miserable, based on absolutely nothing.

The Mighty Boosh is also excellent, but somewhat more an acquired taste.

Anything from Sic's excellent list (especially Peep Show and Arrested Development), plus

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Seinfeld
Operation Good Guys

Adam & Joe Show
/edit: Almost forgot Big Train :o :o :D (technically the last two are sketch shows, but so beyond compare that i felt it necessary to include them)

Apart from the above I'm actually quite partial to Will & Grace.

No idea why but it's probably my fave comedy at the moment, so many classic Jack & Karen moments

Neil

Alan Partridge ( i think Series 2 is better but thats my opinion and know many a person that would have me killed for saying it)

Mighty Boosh Series 1 (2 is good but not AS good)

15 stories High - its more like peep show mixed with jack dee and spaced....it is amazingly funny, Sean locke is amazing at being a miserable man. Shame series 2 is not getting relesed because apparently I was the only person to buy the first one. It is a MAJOR travisty from the people at the BBC that they put it on BBC3 at differant times each week with no prior advertising yet My Family gets christmas specials. bah!

thanks for that. sounds like the sort of thing i need in my life.

as we all know, anything that caters for anything above the lowest common denominator will be shunned to alt. channels and ignored for all eternity. maybe if i buy it, series 2 will come out. and then Belmit will buy it and there'll be a third series ;)

I'l have to second or third peep show, it's probably the best mentioned imo. Just watched the episode when Jez is on a jury and meets up with the defendant in a bar lol.

I literally have it out on DVD rental as I type this. Watched the first episode and it's incredibly dark and depressing but occasionally very funny, I almost mentioned it here but thought I'd watch the lot first.

I do remember laughing at the one episode I saw when it was on TV, I think they were pushing a plough round the estate for some reason (with people heckling them inappropriately - "Get off and milk it!"), and playing table tennis in the flat. It's on that basis alone that I decided to rent it. If it's good, I'll buy it as well. :)
