Firstly can I say that the pinlock system with the double glazing on my lid is such a great addition, I know you can retrofit to any lid and I would highly reccomend any one fitting, no fogging up even in the warm muggy rain this morning.

How slippery was it this morning with the first bit of rain in ages, the roads were foaming with I assume detergents.

Has anyone used water repellent on their visors?

Pinlock visors are awesome, i have 3 visors, 2 clears and 1 mirror tinted, all of which have pinlocks which i use all year round.

I generally don't use any agents on my visor, in fact i still haven't cleared off this summers bugs.

i used to use a standard bodywork polish on a spare visor which worked at anything over 40mph, the wind easily taking the rain off my visor. But I've never tried a purpose made repellent.

My clear visor on my Raid II had pinlock, was best thing ever, though my tint did not and on sunny hot days it caused no issue.

My Arai thing's pinlock seems to not seal completely :'(
