My friend has a laptop and the hard drive has died, he is getting a new one and I am going to reload, he has windows xp and purchased the Vista upgrade for a cheap price when the deals were knocking about, the question is would I be able to install off my vista cd and use his code insted of installing xp and then upgrading to vista?
