Ive just installed vista 32 bit on my pc, received it off a mate who bought it and his pc wasnt powerful enough. I was just wondering is it worth buying my own, 64 bit version is there any vast changes etc ?

Thanks.

well the first thing to look at is can you get 64bit drivers for all your hardware ?
Vista 64 can use over 4gig of ram,and maybe with the right drivers it is faster
then the 32 version..

and i dont think there are any dirext10 64bit games coming, there are 64bit games
on XP but only a few.

With your spec it will run Ultimate just dandy (dont know what version you have)

i dual boot, i install xp first then vista, best of both worlds :)

Dx10 has been a let down so far and I think it's a marketing ploy by Microsoft to push Vista. No DX10 games exhibit any noticeable differences to dx9 even Crysis producers said the bulk of it was done in DX9c and will look as good on that.

Having said that, i like using Vista over XP, I prefer it's explorer and GUI.
