Bit of a mystery to me this one so I thought I would throw it out to you lot.

http aka web browsing works fine for about 30mins to 1hr then it just disspapears. No websites load in any browser, the whole http thing just dies.

However the rest of the internet is fine, I can still check e-mail, online game etc I just cant browse the net. It only returns after a reboot which is fine for the 1st time then it starts to get anoying.

Vista throws no errors but I do notice that while I can access the web I see my speedtouch router in the "network" page and when I loose http I also loose the router icon from the network page in vista.

Rebooting the router does nothing, only a PC reboot fixes it. So it must be something in Vista shutting off?

Anybody have any ideas? the router is a speedtouch 536.

I have a similar issue, the only way i got to surf was load the home page which is google and use that to search and clicking on the links work or use firefox.

Haven't found a fix for it yet mind you.

My problem though is that all http dies no google no nothing. Same in FireFox and IE, it's like http just gets turned off, no homepage will load or bookmarks, nada.

Can I ask, are you using a speedtouch router also?
