Hi Folks,

Currently deciding on upgrading to Vista ultimate, am on XP Pro atm.

Is anyone here running the 64bit version?
I'm on an E6600, 2gb ram, 8800GTX & Audigy 2 with 2xRaptors in raid0.

Now I know the e6600 is 64bit but is the 64bit version of vista likely to cause me more issues than the 32bit version?

The vista ready tool checks out ok.

cheers!

I haven't had any major issues with the 64bit version. Most hardware has 64bit drivers, so unless you've got some quite obscure or old hardware it should be fine.

You're best going for 64-Bit. From what I have been reading all the major issues (especially with Nvidia drivers) have been mostly ironed out.

Ps - Get OEM! :D

whats it like for playing games ? any games have issues ?
Also Can I upgrade over the top of my Vista business 32bit with my new 64bit version or will it require a format ?
