vista 32bit retail upgrade from ocuk ,64bit version obtainable from Msoft ?

thinking about getting the vista home premium upgrade

is it possible to get the 64 bit install disk from microsoft or is this deal strictly limited to 32 bit versions ?

Its retail I guess you just order the disc from MS (except Ultimate which its already included). Maybe drop OcUK a web note to be sure.

AFAIK you can't physically upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit anyway, so this would be unlikely.

thanks for the replies and the links.

just to be sure i made a webnote and OCuk says that microsoft have confirmed that you can get *** 64 bit media from then on the basis of a retail upgrade box.

so it looks like a pretty good deal at £66.69.

unfortunately for me it took 3 web notes over 48 hours to get an answer from ocuk and now they are out of stock lol.
