Installed Vista last night and have been fiddling about setting it up to my tastes etc. Now today after installing some games and apps its became very weird.

For example, COD4 and Kaspersky have installed fine and appear in the All Programs list. Yet Gears Of War and C & C 3 haven't (installed fine nonetheless mind you).

I dragged gears of war over into the list just to see what happened and in doing so it moved the files from the (x86)Program Files into the normal Program files... Yet COD and Kaspersky are also located in the x86 directory...

Im confused... Anyone able to shed some light onto this one? lol

I wouldn't mess with the x86 directory if I were you, the magic-box 32-bit compatibility is just something that works and I leave it to do the voodoo.

As marc2003 said, Start > Games is where the rogue games can be found.

Indeed, the Program files folder is for native 64-bit programs. Anything with a hint of 32-bit goes into the x86 folder. It all functions exactly the same, though.
