Vista 64 and css + bf2?

Right getting excited now the rest of my new rig arrives tomorrow and i've decided to stick vista 64 on it as i'm starting afresh so might aswell.
What i would like to know is i mainly play bf2 and counterstrike source are there
any known issues with these games and vista 64? my system specs is as follows

CD2 6600
ASUS P5N32-E SLI
8800 GTS = `100.65 drivers
XFI GAMER
2BG GEIL LOW LATENCY

If anyone else has trouble these game then i think i might give Vista a miss until
it matures abit.

on my mainstream comp, 3700+ SD, x1800xt, 2gb ram. I noticed a 20-40fps drop from going to vista... probably due to the power of my comp, but i dont intend on upgrading just for gaming.
 
The only thing I have found to be.....needed on Vista, is to run Battlefield 2/2142 to run with admin rights else you get kicked by punkbuster as you are running the game with a limited user account. This can be fixed simply by right clicking the game shortcut/exe and going Properties -> Compatibility

Thanks for help guys vista here i come, i don't think a 20-40 fps drop will worry me at moment because i'm running a 3200 and x800 at the moment so a cd2 and 8800 might be a wee improvement :)
 
Actually my spec is quite similar to Nucleo's and I didn't notice any drop going from xp to vista. Certainly not 40fps!
 
BF:2 ran reeeeeeally bad for me under Vista 32bit. And BF:2 SF was even worse.... hence, back to XP for me. :)
 
All done and and everythings running mint :) heard some bad things about vista 64 and 8800 gts but it went well and is runing perfect.
