vista 64 bit auto run

done a install of vista 64 the other day but none of the discs/games i put in the dvd drive will auto run.

any ideas?

Control Panel -> Autoplay and check if it's enabled.

yep it was already enabled

Might be the same problem im having...

With the disc inserted, go to Computer, does it show the disc in the drive, or a normal "empty" drive icon ?

Do you find the drive sometimes goes back in immediately after ejecting it ?

yep the cd/dvd icon goes messed up eg if i put say lock on air combat in and explore the cd then take it out and put say fear in then explore that i still see lock on icons etc.

not had the drive messing up when ejecting so far.

Try removing the drive from device manager and allow it to re-install the drivers. Might help.
