This may have been covered elsewhere regarding Bsod in vista where 3+ Gb Ram is installed. However I am not entirely sure this is the same problem.

I have just built a pc using the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-092-OK with a Gainward 8800GT, WD 500GB SATA HDD and IDE DVD-RW. This should be more than plenty to deal with quite a bit. I have installed Vista Home Premium 64 Bit and I keep getting into this annoying cycle.

I have installed Vista and it has happily restarted a couple of times when I have installed the sound drivers supplied with the mobo and belkin wi-fi card. This time around (I have reformatted and reinstalled 3/4 times prior following this issue) after installing BitDefender my machine reset and went through POST and started loading up Vista. After the "knightrider" loading screen the machine decides to reset itself, offer to boot up again with safe mode options etc and then even under safe mode it does the same thing again.

I am going to try the 4Gb Vista install fix (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17843937&highlight=vista+bsod) but this isnt at install this is following this. Any help would be most appreciated as Vista is causing nothing but frustration at the moment. First PC build has gone very well up until this point
