Is their currently a range of cards or any card that works with:

DVD
HD DVD
BLU RAY

Offering their full digital audio and using Vista 64 Bit Ultimate

you need to be looking at going for quality 24bit/96khz analogue outputs. spdif isnt capable of carrying DD+ or Dolby TrueHD. i dont know about blueray but as far as HD-DVD goes, DD+ gets downsampled to 640k DD (still very good, mind) and in my case TrueHD doesn't work at all. my amp thinks its stereo pcm, albeit stereo pcm at 2mb/sec lol.

Using analogue, as im sure you know, you wont have that problem.

Damn so id have to rewire in all the multichannel inputs again. 3.5 - Phono.
Still got my Audigy ZS cables laying around i think 3.5-RCA.

Doing this though also has the downside that any alterations to the sound even BASS / TREBLE do nothing. Well on my last Yamaha 750SE it didnt all settings had to be made on the soundcard of cousre as it does the decoding and the amp only amplifies the audio from the seven channels via the multchannel.

Currently now using the Yamaha RX V4600 which should sound good in 24bit/96KHz

Whats my best option for Vista using DVD HDTV HDDVD BLU RAY files

Appreciatee the help or feedback from blugear owners
