I'm trying to install Vista 64 bit on my 32 bit system, is this possible?

But if he is asking the question. He probably means it has a 32bit operating system on it and has no idea what it all means.

@OP You only need an x64 compatible CPU to run an x64 OS. Most CPUs of recent years are x64 so unless you are running old-skool hardware you will most likely enjoy the fruits of 64 bits.

If you mean your PC running 32bits CPU then to you need is 32bits OS as 64bits support both 32/64bits CPU -- if 64bits CPU then use 64bits and backward 32bits OS.

if you install 64bits OS in your 32bits CPU then it wont work.
