vista 64 font problem

today my pc crashed while i was trying to uninstall a game, it happened when i accidentaly clicked a file in the game folder instead of the uninstall icon

it opened a sting of text in firefox and then when i closed it in task manager all my fonts were bold in msn,firefox,internet explorer & a lot of programs

here is a picture of what it looks like

any idea how to fix it? :confused:

its quite annoying

Have you tried a reboot?

yep

first thing i did, i also found a tutorial on the net about reinstalling all my fonts so i did that too to make sure none were corrupted

i also tried changing the vista theme to see if it would reset things but it didnt

If you've installed the fonts into this directory: 'C:\Windows\fonts' and fonts are still bold after a reboot, I don't know what's wrong.

i got it now mate

thanks again, i had put them in the fonts folder that is in control pannel

just went to windows/fonts like you said and after a reboot its all sorted
