Vista 64 worth it?

As above, should I bother? Is there much trouble running older applications?

I'm upgrading the video card and the PC is a bit sluggish anyway, if I'm going to re-format, I don't know if it's worth putting XP Pro on again

What's the story with OEM as well.. have people successfully persuaded MS to let them reactivate say when a mobo blows up?

1st what’s your spec, l’ve ran Vistax64 for about 9 month’s no problem’s at all only bit of old software that didn’t work was Nero5 for me and its far better OS than XP Pro would never go back to XP. Sorry can’t help you with mobo part.

Loads of people have re-activated after a mobo change, may not be strictly legal but most massage the truth, ie mobo blew up and they've installed a diff version, PCs the same though, honest.
