Vista 64Bit any gaming issues ?

Hi all im just wondering about vista ULTIMATE 64, Currently using vista home premium, Any gaming issues loss of speed in game? over vista home prem.

Thing is a lot of people are saying no issues its sweet, and others complaining its crap. I find vista prem sound for games.

My new rig will be a quad core, 8800gtx, 2 gig of ram.

I have not had any issues so far, I had to go round the setup to get Theme Hospital to work but then thats to be expected.

For the most part all is fine, HL2 is also 64bit as well, but not the mods unless coded for it.

I would if your budget allows push to 4Gb or RAM would go better with the spec you have in mind

Nvidia's x64 drivers are terroring me, CoH and Supcom arn't stable, most games are though.
Ultimate wont be diff from your home premium in terms of gaming.

all 4 versions of vista are same in speed. its just the features that are different...

i have no issues playing games. and now i've got my 2600xt card gaming is much faster
