vista 64bit fingerprint software ?

Hi,

why are Microsoft so slow in releasing a 64bit program for fingerprint readers, is there any other 64bit software that can be used ?

Why should they release software for something they don't manufacture?

Not sure if they're still releasing them but microsoft has several desktop sets with built in fingerprint scanners

Yep microsoft do sell a fingerprint reader, never used that though. I guess because it's a security device it should only really accept authorized drivers so I doubt it would work with any old software.

I've got a HP fingerprint reader on my laptop and that works fine with vista 64
