Sorry guys , I have made a new thread as I felt I did not explain myself properly and I am still at loggerheads with this .

I have a Teamspeak issue with Vista 64Bit Home premium that I was hoping someone could help me out with ?

Rigg as follows

VISTA 64BIT HOME PREMIUM / XP PRO DUAL BOOT
EVGA 680I MOBO REV 2 P30 BIOS
E6600 CONROE , WATERCOOLED AND VERY STABLE AT 3.0GHZ
4GB OF OCZ REAPER 1100MHZ
BFG8800GTX , NOT O/C
ENERMAX LIBERTY 720W PSU

After finaly giving Vista a little time over the past month I have evrything working well except teamspeak .XP works perfectly .

THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING IS TWOFOLD

1. I can hear anyone on any channel but no one can hear me.

The X-Fi drivers I am using are theese ones for Vista ;

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi series Vista Driver 2.15.0002

2. My in game voip in BF2 , I cant talk to anyone in my sqaud , again I can hear them but they cant hear me .

HOW I HAVE TRIED TO REMEDY

Now I know you are all saying to me its a Microphone problem within Vista , however I have been into the following and adjusted as follows

Sounds - Recording devices - Microphone (made sure that my MIC is Set as default device) and Turn on mic boost in properties . The mic is deffo working as I can see the green indicator go up and down .

I have also messed around with Teamspeak itself within SETTINGS> OPTIONS >DEVICE OR OUTPUT to all sorts of Input and output settings .

Your help is appreciated ,,otherwise Vista goes in the binn lol.

I think it's due to you using 4GB of RAM which XFI cards can throw a wobbly about at the moment. Issues caused by it include distortion, microphone not working, etc. You'll prolly find that removing some RAM will fix it, not the solution you want to hear though :)

mine seemed fine the first time i installed vista 64 now i have the same problem i was thinkign it was my p35 mobo but it must be somthing else

Dont think its vista, as i have 64 bit vista, 4 gb ram, and an x-fi fatality. All works ok for me. Maybe a conflict somewhere?

(I too use ts btw)

I've got the same problem with 2142, it can be fixed by turning off X-Fi mode in Battlefield and just using 'High'. Not ideal, but a workaround till creative fix it (if they ever do).

EDIT: I assume you have problems in teamspeak when playing battlefield?
