Ok, heres the problem.
My X-fi card makes a sort of crackling/humming sound that is quiet but noticeable. This only happens when graphics are changing on screen eg scrolling a web page, or turning on media player visualisations. There are no conflicts in device manager but it seems there is some sort of issue betwen the Graphics card and sound card.
Does anyone have a fix for this? or is this just a recurring theme with X-Fi cards as a search on the internet throws up loads of pi##ed off owners!
