vista 64bit

hi i just got vista64bit ultimate ed.i have just installed it and having a look around in my computer file i seem to have 2 program files. 1 called program files and the other is program files (x86).so if and when i install games etc where do i install them to??

Install them wherever you like. But I install games into a specific games folder f:\games and all my apps into f:\program files(x86)

I think it will default to program files (x86)

thanks,so i can even install games onto a different drive if i wanted to and not the c drive where windows is installed.just seemed a bit strange why the need for 2 program file folders.

I think,
program files is for 64 bit apps
program files(x86) is for 32 bit apps
Vista 64 automatically selects one of these depending on the application.
