tried searching on here and found nothing like the problem I have.

I went to select file & search indexing on my "C" drive and also enable disk compression. On rebooting, my system now displays a fault. Bootmgr is Compressed, Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart...not a major problem in XP where you had access to FixMBR, but on Vista i have failed to locate it. Does anybody have any ideas as how to I can sort my MBR fault out, without resorting to a full repair. The Vista repair section is pretty crap to say the least. Over to you techie boys now...

thanks in advance...cheers

Bazza.
