Hi,

I can not get into some of the Vista User files folders ( namely my own ) ie 'Temp Internet folder' as I wish to copy files out of that folder.
Vista even stops me from getting into the Cookie folder, and I am the admin on the PC !

Is there some sort of over ride command in VISTA ?

Edit Note.
I think what the problem may be is the NFTS User access while the the HDD was in my XP Pro OS PC. Then when I built my new Vista PC with new SATA II HDD's, I plug the now on XP Pro HDD into my Vista PC with out changing the access rights to the folders & file to shared / Everyone. Now I have sold all my bits from the XP OS PC I have now way of going back to change the access to the folders.
So, is there a option / solution to amend the NFTS access to cut & paste these files off my old XP Pro HDD while its connected to my new PC. I have tried to access the files on a M8's XP PC and I have the same problems as I have in my Vista PC.

Any ideas please.

Maybe try:

All Programs / Accessories / Right Click on Command Prompt / Select Run as Administrator

and then try copying them via the Command Line.
