vista alternative media website live.

When you put the order through did you get asked for the three digit security code on the back of your credit card, it didn't ask me for the three digit security code, my order seemed to go through ok, time will tell, and thanks for the tip.

Hmm, didnt ask me either.

I didn't get asked for the security number either - I would worry too much about this, companies are allowed to put transactions through without it (or at least, we could at work)

has any one with OEM Vista 32bit tried this? if you got OEM enter and see what happens, u might get a 64bit DVD

Just tried and didn't work for me. It said that there's no offer available for me.

I just thought i would post this response to a query that i e-mailed to Microsoft about not being asked for the three digit security code on the back of my credit card.

Query
Hi, i have just managed to order the Windows Vista 64bit DVD alterative media from www.windowsvista/1033/ordermediabut when i was placing my order i didn't get asked for the three digit security code on the back of my credit card.

The question i would like to ask is, will my order still be ok and will my credit card still be charged without any problems, even though i didn't get asked for the three digit security code on the back of my credit card.
Response
Good day Mr xxxx,

thank you for your query.

I do apologise I did not see this second email. I have looked up your order for you with the reference number xxxxxxxxxx and the payment is cleared in our system.

Estimated dispatch date is the 14th February 2007 with a delivery time of 10 to 14 working days. However this date might still change slightly depending on the availability of the product ordered.

For any further questions please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards

This is part of the reason I consider myself very fortunate to have the the Full Retail Ultimate........both 32bit and 64bit DVDs in the same box. I can only imagine the hell of waiting for 64bit discs to arrive........bloody MS

I got an e-mail about two and a half hours ago from Microsoft saying that my Vista 64bit DVD has been shipped :) , shouldn't be to long now.
