Vista- AMD CAQ?

Vista CAQ isn't functioning, do I need to install AMD CPU driver? I read MS included with Vista? But CPU speed isn't throttling back to 1.1ghz (Works in XP with AMD CPU driver) CAQ is enabled in BIOS.

A8N-VM CSM, 1007 BETA BIOS.

AMD haven't released a driver to allow you to use the feature on Vista yet. As for when/if they will, not a clue... nothing has been mentioned regarding it.

it is included in vista but only works with some motherboards..

Nor are AMD releasing any drivers. Vista natively supports it but, like mentioned, depends on mobo.

If you contact your mobo maker (like I did with ASRock) they'll tell you that your mobo was not designed for Vista :mad:

Got a Beta BIOS for my mobo & C'n'Q is now working fine

if your motherboard was designed for Vista (vista ready), CAQ would work in vista.

as above post, AMD won't be releaseing a driver for vista because already as it..

CAQ works on my M2R32-MVP motherboard because its vista ready
