Vista and IPconfig

Does this work in Vista?

If not how do i find out the IP when im running vista, im not certain that ipconfig will work but why not? CMD will be the same wont it? They dont code a new CMD everytime they make new software?

Do they?

Cmd + ipconfig works fine on my vista-64.

Don't foget in Vista to perform certain commands such as "iponfig /renew" you have to run Command as a elevated privilege user/admin (UAC)

i.e right click "command" and then select "run a admin"

As superplay has already stated, make sure you are running "Command Prompt" with administrator privileges.

Another way to run it as an administrator is, type CMD into the start menu search box and then hold Ctrl - Shift and then hit Enter.
