Vista and Memory usage

I have been running Vista Home premium for around 2 weeks and I am a very happy bunny. I have the CPU & Ram indicator on the desktop and the memory does not drop below 70%.

I have 1gb of ram and wanted to know if it should be running at this level all the time?

Also this is not the best ram in the world (cheap *rapy) came with pc so only runs at slowm speed think its 1st stage of DDR2 for speed.


I have msconfiged the startup so its not loading loads of rubish at start.

thanks, so would I be better off getting a second gig of ram (cheap stuff) to take it to 2gb or just buy some better quality ram that runs faster say 800mhz?
