I've just won a MacBook :D (so not a switcher by choice), and have been playing around with some of the Office programs to see if I can share some specific documents. NeoOffice and iWorks screw up the formatting big-time and I can't find a trial of Mac Office 2008. So I'm contemplating using Boot Camp and Office 2007.

It's an entry-level MacBook - will it handle the Vista Aero Glass interface without any problems or should I stick to Vista Basic or XP? Are there any known mac-specific issues with Office 2007? Alternatively, can anyone recommend a more compatible Word and Excel replacement on the Mac that I can try out before spending my hard-earned cash?

Wo..wo...wo...wo...wo...wo....wo............wo.

Won?
Yeah - very lucky! I was at a conference in London and during the evening they had a dinner followed by a casino. Everyone was given a number of chips at the start and the person with the most at the end won the MacBook! I went from 50,000 worth to 300,000 in the last two hands and overtook the guy next to me :D

I must say I'm finding the Mac quite fun to use.
