Hi , does vista home premium have a paint equivelent or similar to the application "paint " in xp

Start > All Program > Accessories > Paint

Or hit the Windows key + r and type "mspaint" in the run box.

yeah, try and get used to just typing in to the start menu, it's soooo much faster than browsing menus.
Typing Paint is soooo much faster than going to it with your mouse and not needing to use the keyboard at all. Erm if you say so mate.

Varies from user to user. I've hardly used the search box.

I do like how it puts your games into their own little section on the main start menu though. Very smart.

i noticed that defragmenting the drive takes a lot longer on vista than on xp , otherwise i am made up :)

The instant search is probably my fav new feature in vista.

I do, if you had two people next to each other and said, "GO!". The hitting windows key and typing pain and hitting enter is possibly about 10x quicker unless the icon is on the desktop in which case it would probably take about the same amount of time. :p

It's good for a bit of fun but not very useful to able bodied people. I haven't spent much time with it though, perhaps it will get better the more it learns?
