Wonder if anyone could point me in the way of some instructions to get my lappy working with both Vista and XP in dual boot mode properly?
Just installed Vista (created a 2nd primary partition and installed the 32bit version), I see my previous version of Windows in the startup boot menu but when I select it, it never gets beyond the Windows XP logo and just locks up.
Anyone any ideas? I am thinking its something to do with the way Vista has become the c: drive and my XP install is now on D: but I cant figure out to change the settings to allow both to work.
Also noticed that the Dell media direct partition no longer works properly either, just winds up at the bootup menu after pressing the button
