Vista - Beta RC3 -

Looking to get hold of another copy of this as my DVD has buggered up and I wanted to give it a spin before I even think about buying it. Does anyone know where I can get it from?

That's illegal. The beta and RC versions are no longer legally available. Neither does the release version of vista have a "30 day trial" - it simply allows a legally licensed user to use the software for 30 days before needing to enter a key.

RC3 ? There wasn't an RC3 was there ? I thought it was beta3 - rc1 - rc2 - rtm. You won't be able to get hold of a copy legally anyway

Not necessarily. If he registered and got a key when the beta program was running he could use the software from a torrent site legally.

I doubt he did that, but you can't jump to conclusions

And no, there wasn't an RC3 only RC2 and then RTM

It was a typo I did mean RC2....

and before you hang me on the gallows Burnsy I registeretd twice before the registration thingy shut @ M$ so I have two valid keys - just no damn usable DVD!

OK I'll go and have a look on torrent.

Sorry, just a little frustrating finding that you've got a buggered DVD when you're psyched up to install it and play with it.
