Hello I need some help please,
I'm posting here because the problem happened just after I installed my new MSI 570 graphics card.
System spec; i7 920, 6GB ram, Asus P5T Deluxe motherboard, Samsung 1TB HD, OS-Windows Vista 64bit Ultimate.
OK, first thing in the morning when I turn on my PC, I just get a blank screen; I notice that the blue HD led light stays on constantly, no blinking activity. The screen remains blank. I don't get to the windows login screen.
To fix this I power off the PC by holding down the power button, after about a minute I turn it on again and this time the PC boots to the login screen as if normal.
Also when my son returns from school (PC’s been off all day) and starts the PC it boots with no problems.
I didn’t have this with my previous 260 GPU; it only started when I replaced it with the 570. I’m running with the supplied drivers that came with the card. When running the PC behaves perfectly.
Anyone have any thoughts on what is happening here, and what I can try to diagnose the problem.
Many thanks
