Vista blocked EXE file

I've sent a friend a zipped .exe file. When she comes to unzip it, Vista blocks it. How can it be unblocked so she can use the file? Thanks!

I sent the zip file over MSN and then she's opened it that way.

MSN blocks the opening of .EXE files by default.

In MSN, Tools>Options>File Transfer. Look for the "Automatically reject file..........." tick box or similar.

Thanks I will do. Completely unfamilir with MSN myself as I'm a Trillian user.

If the exe's already been unzipped then you need to locate it and right click->properties and then there should be a tick box somewhere to unblock it.

it's during the unzipping process that Vista blocks it. So all you end up with is a text document and missing the exe.
