Vista Blu screen

The mothers laptop has started Blue screening all of a sudden,Im sure the hardware is fine..just windows throwing a wobbly at something?

I wouldn't have put it past my mother to have put down the lid while it was doing Windows updates and probably just turned it off at the mains as she tends to do stuff like that.

Memory problem on a write operation. Run memtest and do a check disk.

Just running memtest now,Will probably leave it running until midnight tonight.

If memtest and chkdsk turn up nothing I'd start thinking about possible malware or dodgy drivers.
