Vista blue screens and other problems...

Anyone else getting these? For some reason some programs seem to be hogging all the memory, BF2142 for example keeps on taking memory until there is none left and vista blue screens It doesn't happen every time though and there doesn't seem to be any pattern.

The main culprit is my XF-i driver to be honest, as this seems very flaky, only to be expected as they are still handing out a beta from December rather than a proper driver

I am considering going back to XP for a while, that was really stable, and seemed to run faster on my kit

I have a X6800, 2gb ram, 680i board and a 8800GTX so I would have expected things to just work at an acceptable speed, it's really cheesing me off to be honest

oh and to top it all, my vista capable TV card has no 64bit driver either lol

If you're getting that many issues, it might be worth going back to XP for a month or so.

It's definitely driver issues causing it - if it is Creative, they're final WHQL drivers are due out in March ( )
