Vista Boot Disc

Hey, I'm trying to flash my bios but I'm having trouble creating a bootable floppy disk. How do I do it?
Ive tried My Computer> Right click> Format> Create a MSDOS startup disk but I get the Error 'Non-System Disk' when I restart.

I'm using vista 32bit if that makes any difference.

Have you tried seeing if your motherboard manufacture offers a flash utility that you can use within Windows? Most do.

There is one available but only states that it works on 98, 2000 & XP

Follow the instructions on that. It's for USB drives but it's the same thing for floppies. I think there is an application to download on that page too I think it's "HP boot disk". Something along those lines.

Right ok, I got my floopy to boot fine eventually.
Ran The Bios flash file on there, the box came up saying please wait etc. Then it seems to complete. Restarted and the bios still says the old version.

Command prompt via the Vista DVD doesn't work?
