Ok so the scenario.... I have XP installed on one drive which boots up fine and I have a Vista install on another. I lost the boot manager for Vista when i reinstalled XP so I dont have anyway to get back into Vista atm. Does anyone know how I can get this menu back?.

Can't seem to get this working. Im trying to add the vista partition and make a boot loader but it says it will be reflected on my next reboot after I do it then nothing

Its been a while, but iirc go to the bootloader tab, and select reinstall the Vista Bootloader. This will get you back into Vista, but will stop XP working. Once you get back into Vista run Vistabootpro again and add the XP partition.

Of course make sure you backup the files first ;)

When i dual booted my XP with Vista using Vistabootpro, i found that i had to copy the following files (from my XP partition) to my Vista partition:

NTDETECT.COM
BOOT.INI
NTLDR
(These files are in the root directory i.e. c:\)
These files are referenced when your machine is looking for bootable partitions.

If you copy these files from your XP partition to your Vista partiton on the root path, then you should be able to boot into Vista with the loader you have installed using Vistabootpro.
