Vista Boot Speeds

I have just installed 3 30Gb vertex ssd's and on ATTO they reach 700mb/s so they are working fine. However Vista 64bit takes quite a while to boot 2 minutes or more and i have i7 920 overclocked to 3.8ghz and 12gb ram. I don't think this is normal as FaceplantSi i think has 3 30gb vertex's and he boots vista in 20 seconds. Any suggestions would be appreciated

What RAID level is it?

Other than that what transfer mode is it in? As this could cause slowdowns.

Check to see if you have a lot of programs in your Vista Startup list...

Also, if you have the IDE controller enabled, this can add more time to the boot process...

By transfer mode I mean AHCI - depending on the controller it can be faster or slower. It normally means a reinstall of Vista as well to change to this.

RAID 0 is certainly the fastest though if you care about your data maybe RAID 5 would be good.
