Annoying, recently installed new memory in my system, I have an Asus maximus formula motherboard, q6600 processor, 9800gx2, HAD crucial ballistix 2gb ram CHANGED this to corsair dominator 4GB running 1066mhz have a dual boot system xp on raid, vista on extra hard drive, the problem is xp (main os) boots just fine runs great (more stable then before think i messed the memory up from OC) but Vista doesnt boot it goes through the motions the vista loading screen comes up then goes dark as if about to show vista logo but nothing, bsod and restart, saw first msg something about memory the rest cant make out.

Any clues? its just my dad who uses the vista part he hasnt touched it since i changed the ram which was a few days ago.

Have you done a test on the memory? Not sure what options there are in Windows as I'm a *nix user but if I where you I'd do some kind of mem test. Also unless your version of XP / Vista are 64bit it wont be able to address all that RAM.
