Hi guys need to help, i'v used vista on my system since november without issues (no BSOD)

last week i got a new 7200.10 hdd and installed vista business on the same hardware except the new hdd had windows and old hdd removed.

eSata was setup but nothing connected.

installed newer GFX drivers and newer audio drivers that all i can think of.

i got this error few times from cold boot and once randomly

"A wait operation, attach process, or yield was attempted from a DPC routine"

i done a search and came up with norton but i do not have that installed.

win200 error on ms website says edit reg on clusnet but that aint listed on my vista reg.

any one help me find out what is causing it and how to sort it please?

much appreciated

i see no ones had this problem before.

i removed graphics/audio,deamon tools and various other software that i thought might be cause of problem.

i recently got a blue screen saying some things about mapped end of memory, some things with wrong allocation.

any ideas

"0x000000CD (PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION)."

Lack of replys is due to it being so hard to track down and most people wouldn't know where to start :(
I,ve looked for a good while on the net and theres barely anything about this error on vista so it could be almost anything.

Does it still happen when you load up though safe mode?
Might be a driver causing it or a conflict somewhere along the line.

Tryed running memtest though the pc yet incase one of your memory sticks have given up on you?

Same for the hard drive, go on the websites for yours and download thier revelant tools and run them though.

Failing the above I would format and start from scratch.
Install your drivers/software/windows updates one at a time, reboot lots after each and test it for a good while before moving on.

Not a lot of help I know sorry.

Thanks mate, appreciated.

But i got sick of these BSOD so i done format and install. installed all drivers so far good.

Have not connected usb PS2 pad, freecom freeview usb yet.

got hold of new sata nforce sata drivers 9.22 i think and its certified.
