If I remember right when XP BSOD's it would create a *.dmp file in the minidump folder.
Does anyone know if vista does something similar? Basicly it has started BSOD with a irq not less or equal error, thats all I have time to read before it reboots.

Is a log created anywhere that might help narrow the problem down?

Little edit
Google says a file called memory.dmp is created on the root after a BSOD, im not getting this file :( but I have told it to not auto reboot after so I can just write it down.

I have 4 files in the Windows\Minidump folder named Minixxxxxx-xx.dmp. One was created today after a BSOD, but the time the file was created was when I rebooted in Vista a couple of hours later, not the actual time of the BSOD.
