Got my 64 Ultimate Edition last night, installed it and all was going well until i tried to launch Spider Solitaire - Immediate blue screen and auto restart, upon restart, clicked my name icon on the launch screen and same again, immediate crash and restart.

Tried again worked this time for around 15 mins until same blue screen appeared out of nowhere and pc flicked off. The missus used it after that and she says it blue screened 3 times on her in the hour she was using it. Grim one!

Must be the Beta ATI drivers (got an X1950)? Thats the only thing i've installed myself, the rest of the installation was only a couple of hours old i'd not put a thing on it.

Anyone else getting an issue with ATI cards?

Might aso be worth uninstalling the ATI drivers and just leaving the default drivers in place until ATI release another set.

On the other hand I've been using my x1900 with the latest betas with no problems at all. Sounds more like a dodgey bios setting imho.

Cheers, yep am gonna have to remove the ATI driver and see if that cures, if not its a reinstall which luckily seems a painless process on Vista. Only problem with default driver is that it gives my graphics capability a score of 1 and refuses to use Aero (this can be overridden right?).

Shame as i'm really liking the OS otherwise.
