Vista changing power options!

I have a problem which has literally just started today. My power plan has always been to the max. No screen turning off. No monitor going to sleep.

Today I keep coming back to finding my pc having gone to sleep as vista has set the plan back to its defaults. I set it back to how it like it and 3 hours later i'm back and its asleep again... and so on again.

Can anyone explain why this might happen?

Stupid question but are you logging off or have logging off (after sleep) enabled?

I have to force my settings to stay put, buy using the "group policy editor" cos for some reason my settings keep changing back to the defualt settings after a few hrs or days.
