Vista Clean Install

Hi

After installing vista on release day, and playing about with it for the last couple of months its time to do a clean install, what concerns me is that if i format and then reinstall will i have to call microsoft to have it re-activated or will it activate over the net as it did originally?, ive read a few posts about people having to call ms but am unsure if this is due to changing parts in the machine or just from re-formatting the HD. any ideas?

You won't have to ring them, just activate via the web as normal.

The phonecalls are indeed only for people who have changed hardware (usually CPU/mobo), but even then they are normally just given a new serial number anyway.

All in all, nothing to worry about. You can install an OS on the same machine as many times as you want/need.
