i've tried vista a few times. just installed it again for a look and thank christ i put it on a seperate disk while my normal xp disks were disconnected because it has damaged my xp install in the past (which is not something i need to happen again anytime soon), and i knew i might not want to keep it, and.......
IT IS SO IMPRESSIVELY, MASSIVELY, FRUSTRATINGLY - ANNOYING
i have a cracking new multifunction printer (canon pixma mp 830) and vista doesn't like it. i have adobe golive and vista doesn't like it. i run sage version 12 and vista doesn't like it. i have alcohol 120% and vista doesn't like it. i didn't even try to install the drivers for my nvidia 7800 cos i've heard vista doesn't like it. i wanted a third party firewall but none of the good ones have a vista version yet.
i know this is not microsofts fault, but the end result is that vista, at this time, just really got on my wick and coming back to xp was a breath of fresh air.
